Weather in the KC area has been unusually harsh this winter with a mix of icestorms, snow and freezing temps as the daily norm. Thankfully, this week the ice has finally melted and the sun is shining.

In conversation with Bill and Angie Douglas yesterday (hotel photo of Bill on phone with the BBC on 3/27/04), we pondered what it might take for the 9/11 issue to break wide open and what that awakening might mean for America. With this common goal in mind, I have begun two communications. One analysis and announcement to the anti-war community and the 911 truth movement, the other a note or two to a subset (not necessarily in that order).

Recovering from two surgeries this winter forced me to stay off the computer and away from all news for a significant period (except for creating the Best of 2006 Media). After seven intense years of activism, I have been surprised at the substantial health benefits (physical, mental and emotional) derived from an involuntary boycott (initially) of all news media. Near daily exercise and (beginning) Qigong training has caused reflections and finally successful external change (from 14 to current size 9).

“Peace has to be created, in order to be maintained. It is the product of Faith, Strength, Energy, Will, Sympathy, Justice, Imagination, and the triumph of principle. It will never be achieved by passivity and quietism.”
