After 18 months as a volunteer staff member of 9-11 Research, I resigned on April 6th. 9-11 Research has contributed an enormous amount of research related to the September 11th attacks and subsequent cover-up without ever having paid staff. I continue to enthusiastically support Jim Hoffman and his exceptional team.

A discussion with Kevin Barrett that may still be relevant.

Wearing new hat as an independent ESL reading tutor and shocked to learn about the illiteracy epidemic in the United States. Rudolf Flesch has made a very convincing case that site reading programs are far inferior to phonics first training. For insights and tools I highly recommend the groundshaking Why Johnny Can’t Read - And What You Can Do About It. That there are so few “genuine” phonics first teaching manuals available is a sweeping indictment of an educational system with its ABC basics corrupted by destructive corporate influences (surprise). Based solely on Flesch’s recommendation, I have ordered Phonics First for English tutoring needs.

Due to surgery last winter I thankfully returned to the lost habit of book reading. During recuperation and beyond, the comfort book that I most reached for was this Tao Te Ching.

I have one true regret for one personal error from my years in the founding 9-11 truth movement and have offered apology to that person. Oftentimes uncharacteristic actions do not exist in a vacuum, but are manifestations of anguish from a pattern of previous associated treatment and events.

For those interested and with patience to wait for the download, here is an April video of Brewer and Shipley playing One Toke Over the Line. This video clip was taken with an Olympus camera and has not been compressed.

Very useful articles about website design and related issues.
